This is a pattern for Blanket, Tam, and Jacket.

From Interweave Knits:

“Welcome a new baby with this classic layette worked in easy-care washable wool. The jacket combines traditional Gansey elements--garter stitch, moss stitch, and stockinette stitch--with a practical crossover closure that buttons at the shoulders. The tam is worked in the round upward from the brim and features a wheel-shaped crown and I-cord “stem”. The blanket is worked in four triangles (from wide edge to point) that are seamed together after the knitting is done.“
