NOTES:

  1. Afghan is made from Counterpane Blocks and St st. Blocks, sewn together following a diagram.
  2. Four Triangles are worked separately, then sewn together to make a Counterpane Block. Additional Triangles are worked to make Half Blocks and Corners.
  3. Leaves, Vines, and Flowers are worked separately, then sewn to Afghan.
  4. A circular needle is used to work Edging onto completed Afghan. Work back and forth in rows as if working with straight needles.
