These mitts are a playful take on traditional Fair Isle motifs using robots and robot imagery inspired by futuristic movie robots of the 1950s.

This pattern is a great way to use beautiful bits of yarn; instead of using a single colorway for the contrasting color, the yarn could be changed for each motif stripe.
