Sample Shown using Patons Classic Wool #00202 (Aran). This is just what I had on hand, but a superwash yarn might be even better for this project.

Sizing: This is a one size pattern for kids gloves, fitting children ages 4-7. Modeled on 4 ½ and 6 ½ year old hands.

My boys have been wanting to be Mario and Luigi for Halloween for some time now, so the other day, when they had the day off school, we went and got them their costumes. The only thing that was missing was 2 sets of Super Mario Brother gloves, which I’m told is crucial. So I whipped up two pairs of white gloves to go with their costumes, customizing to fit their hands as I went, and I thought I’d share the pattern with you here.
My boys are 4 and 6 years old (will be 5 and 7 in December), so I estimate these gloves to fit a child between the ages of 4 and 7. I find it hard to find gloves from the store that are warm enough for their little fingers, so these are a nice, cozy Worsted Weight yarn that I think will work great until the really cold weather sets in. Perfect for fall, or maybe even a halloween costume of your own. Enjoy!
