I have another friend undergoing chemotherapy. I told her I would make something wooly for her coldest parts and she choose socks. While on this journey, my friend decided to name her tumor Elvis so that soon she can say ‘Elvis has left the building!’ I figured this called for a pair of blue {suede} socks. If you have a similar story PM me and I’ll discount your pattern. :-)

Details: These socks knit up quickly and are nice and cozy due to the light worsted yarn knitted on a tight gauge. The foot of the sock is knit with the purl side out so that the inside is smooth for the wearer. The sock is knit as a tube then the heel is knit last. That is the only finishing. Be sure to read all of the instructions for each section prior to starting.

Sizes: Womens, (Womens Wide/Mens, Mens Wide)
As these socks are knit from the toe up it is very easy to adjust width and length.
Flat measurements: 3.5 (3.75, 4) inches x 6 inch cuff.

Yarn: 1 Hank Studio June Andrea Mae DK shown in Blue Star. There should be enough yardage to knit 1 pair of socks up to size 11 Mens Wide with a few yds leftover for future darning.

Needle: Size 5/3.75mm DPNs or 1 long circular in each size.
