Perfect for a chilly morning at the Grand Canyon or in your own backyard, this is your go-to sweater. The boatneck raglan pullover is knit from the top down and is completely seamless. The body of the sweater is knit in broken rib stitch. The sweater is designed using concepts from Barbara G. Walker’s seminal “Knitting from the Top.”

Materials Needed:
• Worsted weight yarn 21 ounces (600 gm) / 1320 yards (1200 meters).
• 12-inch (30 cm), 16-inch (40 cm), 24-inch (60 cm), and 32-inch (80 cm) circular needles US size 7 (4.5 mm) or size needed to give you correct gauge.
• 24-inch (60 cm) and 32-inch (80 cm) circular needles 2 sizes smaller than those used to obtain gauge.
• 1 set double-pointed needles US size 7 (4.5 mm) or the size needed to give you correct gauge.
• 1 set double-pointed needles 2 sizes smaller than those used to obtain gauge.
• Stitch markers.

The striped sweater shows the 6 skeins of yarn. I worked each skein on each individual part of the sweater, with the obvious exception of the red neckline.
