Knit from the bottom rib to the neck rib in 2 nearly identical pieces, the fabric has diagonal eyelets, finished arm edgings and short rows to give a gentle shape to the front neckline.

2 (2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3) skeins 
Approximately 510 (580, 650, 775, 825, 875, 950, 1075) yards of Fingering or Sport weight that achieves a beautiful fabric at the recommended gauge.

Cast on a multiple of 5 plus 1 (ie 21, 26, 31 stitches)
Row 1 - Knit
Row 2 and all even rows - Purl
Row 3 - Knit 2, K2tog, YO, knit 1 end knit 1

Repeat these 4 rows for the swatch. They do not make the diagonal stitch pattern, but will give an accurate gauge reading.
