I designed this cowl because I couldn’t find a pattern I liked that would work well with my thick and thin hand spun yarn, but you don’t have to be a spinner of yarn to make this pattern.
The Cowl looks the same front and back so it looks great however you wear it.
With wool yarn the cowl can be blocked to the desired length.

You will need:
Approximately 150 yards of bulky or thick and thin hand spun yarn. Solid color or tonal works best, but you decide.
(Universal Yarns Classic Shades Frenzy works great as well.)
A US 9, 5.5 mm, 24 inch circular needle
One stitch marker
Darning needle
Scissors

Pattern is divisible by 4, so you can make it as short or long as you desire.
