I had a request from a friend to make a hat for her teen age daughter who just got a hamster. I couldn’t find any patterns online for what I was looking for - so I made this one.

I am so happy with how it turned out. And the recipient loved the hat!

I have written this in an adjult size. However, you can make it child sized just by going down one hook size. You could also make it a large adult size by going up one hook size.

Round 8: DC in first 8, 2 DC in next repeat 1 time. DC in next 2 stitches. Change to color 2, DC in next 3 stitches, change back to color 1. DC in next 3 stitches, 2 DC in next , Dc in next 8 stitches, 2 DC in next, repeat around, join, ch 2 (60 DC - 3 in color 2)
