This is an easy project designed for all levels of knitters, especially groups that knit for charity. This lovey is inspired by children anywhere who are in need of comfort. If you have suggestions for organizations accepting this type of donation, please send me a message. While pattern calls for worsted yarn for a 4”x12” lovey, other yarn weights would work. To make the pattern very easy, garter stitch (all rows knit) is used throughout. Blanket section is easily adapted to stockinette, lace or other stitch patterns.
