Lofty reversible cowl knitted in Brioche stitch in a simple repeated pattern that gives a stunning result. The knit assumes some knowledge of the Brioche knitting and the abbreviations used. I have included some basic information in the pattern too for you complete novices.

More information can be found on-line in various youtube videos.

Don’t be intimidated by this 2 coloured cowl knit in the round. If you are wanting to experiment with Brioche it’s actually easier to read your knitting and know which stitch is which when working in 2 colours.
Also Brioche is easier to knit in the round than it is in the flat. So an ideal knit for someone starting with Brioche or just wanting to branch out a little.

Suggested yarn: YarnStories fine merino DK - 2 x 50 grams in contrasting colours. I used French Navy and Duck Egg in the sample.
