The Hebden Gilet Jacket is an easy-to-wear extra layer for your toddler or youngster, helping to maintain their core temperature as the temperatures start to fall.

The gilet can be quickly slipped on over a T-shirt or top when they are playing outside and provides extra warmth without restricting their arm movements. It can be worn open or snapped shut with large feature press-studs.

The jacket is worked in a soft merino wool yarn and the pattern includes six sizes to suit kiddies aged 2–12 years.

Difficulty: Intermediate

Techniques: Knitting, purling, decreases, slipped stitches, working with two colours, working with two ends of yarn held together, joining seams either by grafting or with a 3-needle Bind-Off.
