The Heirloom Christmas Stocking is a perfect way to add some extra coziness to your Christmas home decor and to make Christmas morning extra merry - it’s a big stocking for Santa to fill up with lots of little goodies!

This crochet pattern works toe up with a seamless design - that is, the heel is worked into the pattern and not separately, making this a quick and easy stocking pattern to complete. The pattern is loaded with great textured features and crochet cables to give the stocking an heirloom worthy touch to the design.

Instructions are included in the pattern for two different versions of the fold over top of the stocking - one version for yarn and another for faux fur.

The finished stocking measures between 21” and 22” in length when measuring diagonally from top corner of stocking to the middle of the tip of the toe.

Materials required for making the pattern: Super Bulky yarn like Bernat Softee Chunky or Bulky yarn like Loops & Threads Charisma - 3 to 4 balls total (3 balls of main color and 1 ball of white - 108yds each) and if wanting a faux fur top to the stocking, 1 ball of Lion Brand Go For Faux yarn (please note that you CANNOT use the Thick & Quick version of Go For Faux in this pattern). You will need 3 sizes of hooks - L (8.00mm), N (10.00mm) and J (6.00mm).

Of Note, this pattern is not beginner friendly - the design is meant for crocheters that have experience with and are comfortable with front and back post stitches, crochet cable stitches and slip stitching techniques. There are some photos provided to help describe some of the steps however these are not to be considered as tutorial. That being said, this is a pattern that can be handled by intermediate or advanced beginner crocheters as there are a lot of details included within the pattern on how to make stitches and complete the more detailed work of the stocking.

Thank you for your interest in the pattern, I hope you enjoy working with it!
