Lassie is knit in the traditional Gansey fashion. It is worked in the round to the armholes, then back and forth to the shoulders. Sleeves are picked up and worked from the armhole down. This garment features traditional sttich patterns which call to mind the herring lassies; waves, herringbones, and fishing nets.
