The Himalia XO Beanie is classic style that is a joy to make, with just a few simple twisted stitches to add the XO pattern. The all over rib stitch makes this beanie very stretchy which means it accommodates a variety of sizes, from Small to Large (52cm - 62cm+/20”-24”+). The classic style suits men and women, and the length is easily customisable, so you can have a tight fitting watch cap, a slouchie beanie or something in between. This beanie is knit in the round so there is no seaming. Instructions are both written and charted.

Materials needed:
-3.75mm & 4mm needles, 40cm/16” circular needles & 4mm double point needles (or long circular needles if using the Magic Loop method) to complete the crown decreases (or size to achieve correct tension/gauge).
-160-180m (175-197yds) 10ply/worsted weight yarn
-stitch marker

Gauge/Tension:
25sts x 28 rows per 10cm (4”) in 4x2 rib
