Yarn kits in wonderful colours for suggested yarn available Here

Hockney cardigan is part of Club Tricot 1-A glaring winter collection.
This is the most sophisticated construction in the collection, which allows you to knit a piece from the front, back and armholes. We begin by knitting the shoulders from a provisional cast on, then we work the upper body topdown.

This sweater has a funny construction: start knitting the yoke flat, with a delicate slipped stitches pattern, then pick up stitches around armholes and bottom of the yoke to shape body. Sleeves caps are worked in short rows.

Suggested yarn:

Bio Shetland held double, BC garn, 280 m / 50 g
350 g (twice 980 m) 400 g (twice 1120 m) 450 g (twice1120 m) 500 g (twice 1260 m)

Gauge:

10 cm = 19 stitches
10 cm = 28 rows
in stockinette with yarn held double and 4,5 mm needle

Change needle size to fit gauge if needed.

Notions & needles:

· 3 mm circular needle for the rib
· 4,5 mm circular needle for the body
· Cable needle for the cables
· Crochet for the provisional cast on
· Row counter
· Stitch markers
· 5 20 mm diameter buttons
