The Child’s Honeycomb Cardigan from Valley Yarns is a fast knit with a delightful mix of stitch patterns. The lower body has a hexagonal honeycomb pattern and the sleeves are knit in a striped stockinette stitch. This sweater is worked from the bottom up in Valley Superwash Bulky, a soft, machine-washable yarn that is perfect for kids. After the main body is complete stitches are picked up for the button band and the buttons are knit into the fabric for safety.
