This is a good project for knitters who are new to steeking and cutting their work. It’s also a nice design for both men and women.

The shawl collar and ribbing at the bottom of the sweater and cuff on the sleeves are knitted flat in a reversible cable pattern.

The body and sleeves are knitted in the round in the two color Houndstooth pattern.

The sleeves are knitted in such a way that underarm stitches are incorporated so that there is no sewing to join sleeves and body at the underarm.

Steek stitches are added at the underarms and front neck to facilitate knitting in the round, and cut to add sleeves and collar.
