My first publicly-released pattern, Hutton is a nice quick knit, with a few different techniques to keep it interesting.

Fastened in place with 5 buttons, you can use i-cord or crochet to make button loops. The main body of the cosy is knitted in woven stitch, and two hems, knitted in stocking stitch on smaller needles, are whipstitched into place to give a lovely neat finish.

Hutton is a fantastic stashbuster: use 140 yards of any double knitting weight yarn (machine washable is best!) that you have in your stash, and raid your sewing box for buttons.
