2016 will be the 7th year for me to join in our local hats for kids project so I’m excited to do my part in this effort.

This quick and easy hat pattern features a subtle texture for the body of the hat, plus a little variation in the ribbing method. The slip stitches form a thicker fabric, making this a warm hat

The size of this hat is easily adjustable by increasing or decreasing the number of cast-on stitches in multiples of eight. If making a larger hat, knit additional repeats of the 4-round stitch pattern in the body of the hat.
