In case of chilly weather is a large asymmetric shawl with alternated sections of stockinette (or garter if you prefer) stitch and textured stich. It is knitted from a point and ends with a few rows of garter stitch and eventually picots.
It is quite big (2.5 yards), so you can surround it several times around your neck to get warm. But you can easily change the size if you prefer.
It is not difficult and can be made by anyone who knows the basics of knitting.
You will need at least 550 yards of fingering yarn (the pink and purple one is knitted with Louisa Harding Yarns Amitola).

In case of chilly weather (En cas de temps frais) est un châle triangulaire, avec une construction en biais et une alternance de bandes de jersey et point texturé. Il se termine par quelques rangs de point mousse et un rang facultatif de picots.
Il est proposé en jersey, mais rien ne vous empêche de le réaliser au point mousse si vous préférez, à part les bandes de point dentelle.
Il est assez grand (2,30 m) et vous pourrez faire plusieurs fois le tour de votre cou pour avoir bien chaud. Mais si vous le voulez, voue pouvez facilement le réaliser plus petit ou encore plus grand.
Il peut être réalisé par une personne maîtrisant juste les bases du tricot.
Prévoyez au moins 500 m de laine qui se tricote habituellement avec des aiguilles 2,5 ou 3 mm environ (le rose et violet est tricoté avec la laine Amitola de Louisa Harding).
