Tote bag knit in the round using a modified version of Indian cross stitch. It has a garter stitch base and stockinette stitch handles. Size is approximately 14 inches wide by 14 inches high.

400 - 500 yards of DK or sport-weight cotton, linen or microfiber yarn. Since the bag is designed to carry things, it’s important to use a yarn that does not break or stretch easily. I used 2 skeins of Ty Dye Dots from Knit One Crochet Two. Others have successfully used hemp and linen yarns.
