NORTH SEA is a collection inspired by the traditional fisherman knit and is a celebration of nautical cables and Celtic twists, complimented by Nordic inspired Fair Isle. Photographed on Unst, the most northerly of the Shetland Islands…a perfect location to experience the wildness of where the North Sea meets the North Atlantic Ocean.

ISLAY is one of my personal favourites as it’s a really easy garment to wear from the NORTH SEA collection. Team it with a treasured pair of jeans or a denim skirt and it will look great…knitted in a different neutral colour and it would go with anything! Also, this is a fairly simple design to knit, the cable yoke although looks difficult, is in fact achievable by the average knitter. ISLAY is knitted in Rowan Felted Tweed and colour I’ve used is Maritime.

We photographed ISLAY on Lund beach on the South West coast of Unst. This beautiful remote beach is overlooked by the ancient St Olaf’s Church, a 12th Century chapel, now in ruins although the small cemetery is still in use.Sizes: S (M, L, XL, XXL)
