  1. This pattern was created with the beginner in mind using the following stitches: SC, HDC, and post stitches
  2. This pattern is written in US terms for the right handed crocheter
  3. This pattern contains photos to help you along
  4. This pattern currently only has instructions for adult sizing, however the pattern will be updated soon with multiple sizes
  5. Gauge using HDC and size “I” (5.50 MM) hook: 12 rows= 4”, 14 sts= 4”
  6. Adult size fits head circumference up to 23” with finished measurements of 10.5” wide X 7.5” long (top to bottom)
  7. Chains at beginning of rounds do not count in stitch count
  8. Numbers in parentheses at end of rounds indicate total stitch count for round
  9. Finished product: wash in cold or luke-warm water, tumble dry on low heat or lay flat to dry
