Winter Fun is a slouchy stranded hat, and it was one of two hats I designed for the CBD January MKAL. (See Traditional Baroque) I designed it so that the picture continues, unrepeated, all the way around the hat. This provided a great mystery for knitters, as they tried to guess what was working up in their projects. Some of the many beautiful hats are pictured below to give you an idea of what the design looks like from all angles, and to show you how much winter fun we had knitting along together in the group! Because the hat is stranded, you achieve double the warmth of a single strand of yarn without it being at all bulky. Thank you to all my friends, old and new, who participated in the first CBD KAL of 2017!
