Knit these sparkly cuffs with matching headband for a touch of warmth, a little fashion and loads fun!
The cuffs are knit in the round from the bottom up with an offset bead pattern. The yarn used in this sample is Silky Wool, which is a smooth strand that hugs the beads; along with Schulana kid seta lace weight mohair, held together throughout.
Approximately 200 size 6/0 TOHO seed beads for EACH (Medium sized) cuff are prestrung before knitting the project. The headband uses 133 beads.
Have fun selecting just the right yarn and bead combinations.
(Substitute any smooth stranded sport weight yarn along with any lace weight mohair.
The cuffs and headband may also be knit with the sport weight yarn alone.)
One hank of Silky wool and one ball of mohair will make 4 cuffs and two headbands.
The link for the Magic Loop method is included in the pattern.
