June Afternoon is a dainty summery faded shawl featuring delicate lace alternated with relaxing Garter and thin bands of twisted ribs It’s a dynamic and engaging knit that’s a great intro to Japanese lace - this one is easy to memorize and flows so nicely!

Perfect project for long June evenings on the porch:)

The pattern has a schematic and lace is both written and charted.

You will need a fade set of three skeins of fingering weight yarn, 400 yards each. Coordinating solids work well too if you prefer a bit more contrast.
