Katerin is shawl-that-soothes-fairytale-beauty-shoulders with a unique pansies- and tulips-pattern and dove-wings inspired feather finish!
Katerin told me secretly that she cannot leave Cinderella’s shoulders without being broken-hearted. Her princess is so kind, so beautiful, best friend of animals and her prince. She is a believer and a devoted soul. And Katerin wants to be the shawl to resemble all that! Pansies and tulips hugs her shoulders and dove feathers flow around her back.
Imagine Cinderella wearing a beautiful ball dress in dark silver and this Robin’s Egg – colored shawl on her delicate shoulders… Sigh. Yes. These are the ingredients fairy tales are made of. If you like to increase the pattern in size – do it! You can knit the pansies-and-tulips pattern as long as you like!

Shawl contruction
You start knitting this shawl with a wide garter tab and knit it in rows. All rows start and end with three stitches in garter stitch. Left and right wing consist of a pansies-and-tulips pattern. The middle section features pansies and narrow yarn-over stripes from the beginning to the end of the shawl. The flower pattern flows fluently into a feather border pattern.
