First off.. a little history behind the inspiration… My mom used to draw this picture all over the place.. I always loved it and thought he was very cute.. I did not know that there was actually a meaning behind it.. So I looked into it and found some fun facts and a name to go with my little guy.. I decided to make a girl version and named her KILJOY!! :)

The image and tagline “Kilroy was Here” dates back in history to World War II. The image was found drawn all over different things, mostly by soldiers. It had become a contest to see who could put him in the most unusual place!! This ACTUAL history of where he began is not exactly know but early findings of him date back to 1938.. He is mostly seen in graffiti art.. the major Kilroy fad ended in the 1950s. (I thought this was very interesting to find out)
