Autumn cowl is a textured and softly pleated accessory knit in the round and seamless.

The sample is knit in Sock weight yarn, but the pattern can be easily adapted to other weight yarns.

If it is knit in the same gauge with the same pattern repeats as shown, it is just the right size to be worn as a double and snug loop, or alternatively, to drape loosely around shoulders and neck.

Suggested yarn
Madelinetosh sock
Garment shown in Madelinetosh sock: color ginger

Quantity
Madelinetosh sock = 1 skein

Needle (suggested size)
4.00mm (US 6) circular needle

Notions
Stitch markers x 1
Tapestry needle

Gauge (not critical)
24sts and 36 rows in 4” over pattern after washing

Notes
If you chose to knit on a smaller sized needle, cowl will have less drape and texture and pleats will be tighter.
