KNITFIELD Horse Shoe Throw or Blanket by Designer Edel MacBride
This “horse shoe” throw or blanket is made in a suitable size for an armchair. It would also make a warm cot blanket, and a lovely gift with an Irish signature.

As it is wool- a natural fibre- it is breathable and naturally warm. There is a big difference in the warmth of a real wool knit and a synthetic one, so it’s worth considering this when making your yarn purchase; especially when making a blanket for an elderly person.

This pattern can also be simplified for less experienced knitters.
Enjoy!

We used 100% Donegal Tweed to make this product which is available for sale in our shop. We at KNITFIELD also sold kits that had everything you need to make each product.
