These felt beads are so quick and easy to make.

Why not make a necklace and matching bracelet, or even some earrings?

They are also a fantastic way to use up every last scrap of stashed felting wool.

With three size options the creative possibilities are endless.

Felted Size
Small 2cm (0.8”) diameter
Medium 3cm (1.2”) diameter
Large 3.5cm (1.4”) diameter

Yardage
50g (50m) ball felting / filz woolmakes approximately 33 small or 15 medium or 8 large beads.

Yardage for each bead
Small 1g (1m, 1yds)
Medium 3g (3m, 3yds)
Large 6g (6m, 6yds)

Recommended yarn:-any felting or filz yarn- if using Cascade 220 use two strands knitted together

BASIC SKILLS NEEDED FOR THIS PATTERN.

Stocking stitch - knit one row then purl one row.
Inc- increase 1 stitch by knitting into front and then into the back of stitch
k2tog - Knit the next 2 stitches together

SUITABLE FOR- All knitters this is an easy pattern. If you can do stocking stitch and follow a pattern I explain the rest as you go along.
