Details are for the woman’s version

Both sweaters in this ensemble use the same combination of chunky and easy-to-knit cables. Varying the weight of the yarn and the edge finishes makes each garment look distinctly different. The woman’s lighter weight sweater is based on a fisherman’s smock with Guernsey-style stockinette stitch at the bottom of the sweater. It’s feminized with the addition of a fun to knit lacy, bobbled border. The other version, which looks equally attractive on men and women, is edged in a cabled rib stitch that gives it a more traditional sweater look.
