ABOUT THE PATTERN
A quick, fun knit perfect for gifting, the Last Minute Invite Cowl is cozy, fits most adults, and is easy to wear. The shaping of the cowl helps it to fit nicely over your shoulders, and you can choose to wear it buttoned or unbuttoned; outside under a coat or inside without a coat.

The pattern is worked bottom up in the round. It would be easy to add additional length to either the bottom of the cowl or the neck of the cowl if desired. Learn more about the design inspiration, knitting experience, and wearing experience here.

The pattern includes one PDF file with the written instructions and a linked tutorial that walks you through the whole pattern using continental knitting (perfect for knitters who don’t like reading instructions!).

The techniques used in the Last Minute Invite Cowl pattern are relatively simple: the majority of the knitting is plain stockinette knitting. The pattern also includes knitting stitches together, an I-cord bind off, and provisional cast on. The pattern is written for an adventurous beginner knitter wanting to learn how to challenge their current skills.

All of my patterns include clear, step-by-step instructions and linked video technique tutorials that walk you through the pattern with confidence. This pattern also includes a video tutorial that walks you through the whole pattern, step by step. I am also available for pattern support if you have questions.
