Top down hat with a lovely lace brim to keep you warm during a cold winter.

Finished Measurements 22”

My father used to buy beautiful, classic sweaters from discount stores and wear them for 30 years or more. When he died, my mom offered to give me any of the sweaters I wanted to wear. I loved the yarns, so I decided to recycle as many of the sweaters as I could.

The lace on this hat is made from a Ralph Lauren sweater, made of DK weight yarn, 74% lambswool and 26% cashmere. (I really don’t understand these exact percentages!)

The cap is made from my handspun from 100% Bluefaced Leicester roving dyed by Spirit Trail Fiberworks, beautiful yarns and roving.

The hat can be made with any light weight worsted yarn.
