Unleash your scrap stash with these mitts of epic layers. Layer up a rainbow or crazy contrasting yarn to make these totally unique hand warmers. You are only limited by your fear and imagination.

There are six layers of warmth here so you could use 6 colours or alternate between 2 or 3, go crazy, go high contrast.

These gloves have an 8 inch circumference around the knuckles and are 8 inches long. Sample shown on hands with 7.5 inch knuckle circumference

You will need

Fingering weight yarn.

2 2.25mm needles, anything you use to work in a small circle, be it magic loop, DPNS’s or crazy small 9 inch needles.

2 stitch markers.

Stitch holder or waste yarn.

All the regular jazz - scissors, tapestry needle, tape measure

I would say this is an intermediate pattern. The knowledge of knitting, purling, casting on and binding off, German short rows, twisted German cast on, increasing and decreasing.
