We all love a chunky knitted scarf. They fly off the needles and look super chic while keeping us warm. Still, a girl can only have so many simple color block scarves in her collection. Which is where the Lisette Scarf comes in! I thought pairing stripes with a super bulky weight yarn would be a fun way to mix things up. The striping pattern is not an exact “science,” so if you knit an extra couple rows or two of a color, it’s not a problem. The different color changes will keep you super interested and provide a truly unique accessory. Consider the Striping sequence of the pattern more of a guideline than a hard and fast rule, and you are on your way to creating something unique to you and you alone. The cast on stitches are important, but the pattern will give you 3 variations so you can make this scarf as skinny or as wide as you like. There are also two variations on length so you can make is as short or long as your heart desires.

This scarf pattern is made using only knit stitches. It does introduce a slip stitch technique which is crucial to creating the texture. But it’s so easy to do! People will think this is far more complicated to make than is the reality, and you will love the squishy factor of the finished fabric.

The pattern is linked to video tutorials for all the stitches used including a rather in depth video showing how to get the best results from your Lisette.
