Little Wombat has two patterns in it; one for an adult wombat and one for a baby/child wombat.

The pattern has step-by-step instructions and two pages of colour photos showing some knitting up of the wombat and the finishing embroidery on the wombat.

These wombats are quick to knit up. Make a whole family and gift them to someone special. They will have endless hours of fun, as do my own children.

Gauge
The gauge should not matter much. If you are a looser knitter you are more likely to see the gaps in the stitches. This is only a problem if you stuff the wombat with a lighter coloured stuffing. I recommend a dark coloured stuffing, like my alpaca fleece that I wash and card ready for stuffing with. Information on how to purchase this stuffing is in the pattern.

Materials

• 50g ball of 4ply brown cotton yarn
• small amount of black yarn/embroidery thread for eyes and nose
• 2x 2.75mm (US 2) standard or double pointed needles
• a small amount of stuffing.

Measurements
Adult is 7.5cm long and Child is 6cm long.
