A perfect scarf to make for Valentine’s Day.

I wanted to design a scarf that would have colour work but look good on both sides of the scarf, keep me cosy and not fly away in the wind. With that in mind, I decided a double knitted Mobius was the answer. What is a Mobius? It is joined, but has one twist in the fabric – it forms a very flattering cowl drape on your neckline. Don’t want a Mobius? Just increase the number of repeats and don’t join the scarf at the ends. This pattern contains instructions for both options. Double knitting was chosen because it forms reversible colour work. My problem with this plan? I didn’t know how to double knit. So I made up this pattern and taught myself! While this pattern is labeled intermediate, it is suitable for beginners to double knitting, like myself!
