Named after one of my favorite places, the Loyalsock Creek in beautiful northeastern Pennsylvania, the Loyalsocks are as perfect for cozy weekend mornings as they are for a beautiful mountain hike and rest by the campfire. Blacker Yarns Mohair Blends yarn is an excellent match for colorwork socks. The fabric created with the lovely blend of fibers results in a durable, ageless, and comfortable sock.

The Loyalsocks are knit cuff-down in the round with an afterthought heel. The heels, toes, and cuff are knit in a contrast color. Slipped stitches in the ribbing add interest to an otherwise plain rib. I highly recommend using a larger needle size for the color work portion of the pattern to ensure a comfortable fit. Take care to follow the correct chart for the size you are working.
