Last summer, while on vacation, I started to knit a pullover. I wanted it to be easy enough to pick up and put down throughout the rest of the trip, but visually interesting as well. I found the Mistake Rib stitch in the Vogue Knitting Book and decided it would be suitable. I wanted a closer fit than many of my sweaters, and raglan sleeves would help with this. The yarn I was using has a rustic quality and I imagined a casual pullover without ribbing or other differentiation at the edges.
