MARIPOSA HAT - is a lovely, unisex, bulky, warm hat to suit both genders alike. It only uses 128 grams of (100% Corriedale Wool worsted weight, one skein of main colour and one skein of contrasting colour) yarn held double to make one hat. Therefore, there will be leftovers. It is knit seamless, all in one piece construction from the bottom up. Pick your favourite 2 colours to marl together. I used, 1 skein of Flagstone and 1 skein of Honeycomb. Hold 2 strands of worsted weight yarn together throughout and add a pom pom. From the leftovers, I was able to make a twisted knot headband from my pattern called TO KNOT OR NOT. Happy Knitting!

This pattern/kit was a collaboration. The pattern was designed by Christina Pridie (seamless knitwear designer). The yarn was hand dyed and processed by the team at the Mariposa Woolen Mills which is owned and managed by Ellen Edney.
