Notes:
-Bandana is worked flat in one piece.
-This bandana has an adjustable strap so there is no tying, no bulk on the neck, and no tension headaches! I love to tuck mine under my glasses for extra comfort.
-To decrease overall length and width for a child, stop body section at desired length before reaching 6.5 inches.
-To increase the overall length you have two options:
For more length as well as width to go further behind the ears, add more repeats in the body section before you do the band.
To add length to the body without increasing the width of the band, insert a right side row and a wrong side row of garter in between the body row repeats. These will look most even if you space them out every few body repeats but feel free to mix and match the repeat numbers for different looks! It is also fun to add in stripes of accent colors!
