The page you are on links to the original version of the sock which is more of a description of my process rather than a detailed pattern.

I was brand new to knitting and people kept saying how hard it was to knit with cotton, so i made the socks in the photos of white wool-cotton blend and space-dyed blue wool-nylon blend.

Not long after i knit another pair of cotton, Baby Georgia by Crystal Palace, which has since been discontinued. People have asked me what to substitute for it. Sadly, when i find a good substitute, it gets discontinued and i have to search all over again. So all i can say is search for an available yarn that’s the same size. If you want to make an historic reproduction, you’ll need 100% cotton. If it’s for your own pleasure, use whatever you can find that appeals to you.

If you are doing an Historic KAL or are looking for the Sock Summit related pattern, you want the PDF at https://web.archive.org/web/20150812205801/http://home.ea...

This is the spiffy, brand-new, modern, detailed version of the pattern. It was originally posted in a descriptive version, which is elsewhere on this site. Thanks to claning for beating it into shape.

Additional Gauge Info:

You need close to equal amounts - between 275 and 325 yards - of EACH of two colors. The original colors were off-white and dark indigo. The yardage is estimated - you will need more if you have long feet or longer or wider legs.

UPDATE
In July 2020 my ISP removed all the websites it had been hosting. I have updated the link to my new website, as well as a link to the pattern PDF as saved by web.archive, aka The Wayback Machine.
