Inspired by a walk along the beach, the feathery scallops on this scarf remind me of the layers of ripples created by wave after wave washing over the sand. I chose a brioche stitch for the base of the scarf because the prominent, raised ridges of stitches make a super-simple beginning for easily picking up stitches.
