Out of the blue, I wrote a love story.

Beautiful Wreck is a novel that takes place in tenth century Iceland--a place of rugged danger and breathtaking beauty. A world where Norse gods are real and women’s dyepots overflow with lichens and birch leaves. While writing the book, I traveled to Iceland to visit thousand-year-old farms and black volcanic landscapes.

Along the way, I started collecting ideas for shawls, stoles and scarves that are related to my fictional farm and the romantic story that takes place there.

Six shawls & wraps

I designed six shawls and wraps over the course of a year and gathered them into a collection. If you click on the source above, you can order the whole collection.
