The jacket has a relaxed look, with dropped shoulder and slender sleeves. The variegated yarn makes for interesting striping, both horizontally and vertically. The main pattern is a honeycomb stitch, with V-chevron stripes centred across the upper back. The right front is a cable pattern, knit sideways. The sleeves are ribbed, with have a centre cable and shaping at the top. The shawl collar band is cabled.

N.B. I love the yarn, but found that my tension varied from that given in the pattern. I had to significantly shorten the sleeves from what the instructions indicated, but still managed to achieve the casual look that makes the cardigan so attractive. As a result, I used 6 balls instead of 7.
