Ankle socks are the bee’s knees when it comes to rocking a sneaker look, keeping your tootsies toasty year round! They are fast and fun to make using your favorite DK weight sock yarn (6-ply). You will work in the round from the cuff down, using a set of 5 DPNs or any other preferred method for knitting in the round. Ankle cuffs are 2” long, but you can make them longer and fold the cuffs down when wearing. The heel is done using the German short rows technique (Fish Lips Kiss heel) and the toe is grafted in Kitchener stitch without “ears”. This pattern includes row-by-row instructions, abbreviations, special stitches and techniques, knitting diagrams and photos.
