Molly Red Skirts (a/k/a Molly Chandler) was FitzChivalry Farseer’s love from boyhood. Due to royal and political machinations, they are torn apart for almost 20 years. Once they are reunited, they have a wonderfully fulfilling life together, sharing the joy of their two daughters, Nettle and Bee. Molly is known for the beautifully hand-dyed red skirts she wears as well as her skills with bees and candle-making. Robin Hobb’s Farseer and Fitz and the Fool trilogies carry us through the lives of Molly and Fitz.

There is a 2-color version of this shawl that requires 100 yds of a second color. This is a wonderful opportunity to use that leftover ball of yarn from another project. Knitter’s choice!
