This pattern only involves knitting flat and is suitable for a beginner knitter who doesn’t mind a tiny bit of embroidery. What you will need:

2 knitting needles (US2/2.75mm or as per tension advice)
2 knitting needles (US3/3.25mm or as per tension advice)
5-10g novelty chunky yarn (e.g. Bergere de France Plume 24779 ‘Neon’ or 52428 ‘Brun Rouge’)
5g white DK yarn (e.g. Sirdar Snuggly DK 251 ‘White’)
5g red or pink DK yarn (e.g. Sirdar Snuggly DK 242 ‘Flamenco’ or 350 ‘Spicy Pink’)
Two black plastic toy safety eyes (6mm)
Polyfil toy stuffing
1 tapestry needle for finishing

Skills used: Casting on and off, Increasing and decreasing, Embroidery

Stitches used: Stocking stitch, Rib
